Style CGI - Inner & Outer Rings
The CGI spiral wound is the new standard spiral wound gasket per ASME B16.20 and is required unless otherwise specified by the user. The CGI is a CG style spiral wound fitted with an internal ring which gives an additional compression limiting stop and prevents inward buckling ring. The inner rings are typically made from the same material as the windings, but can be produced in other alloys depending on service.
