SF2420 Gaskets
SF2420 is an SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber) based, asbestos-free sheet sealing material reinforced with synthetic fibres.
Flexitallic SF2420 is suitable for use in applications involving hot and cold water, steam, oils, fuels, gases and a wide range of general chemicals. It is specially formulated to swell in a controlled manner when it comes into contact with oil.
This controlled swell property makes the material particularly suitable for automotive use or in applications involving lightly loaded connections sealing against oil based media.
