AMILON™ 3
AMILONTM 3 has been developed for use as bearing material in food and beverage applications. It has been designed to run dry without any additional lubrication. AMILONTM 3 operating temperature range is -400°F (-240°C) to 500°F (260°C). Material is available in molded rods and cylinders as well as skived or molded sheets. It can also be supplied with chemically modified surfaces for bonding as an optional feature.
APPLICATIONS: Bearings in food and beverage industry (pumps, mixers, compressors); Good for rough shafts.
