Plastolon® PTFE Tapes

Altamira produces PTFE films and tapes under the Plastolon brand for the wire and cable industry. Our products are ideal for critical applications where high temperatures and dielectric resistance is mandatory. Used for insulation and jacketing in the aerospace industry, these tapes are perfect for high voltage power transfer, data cables, thread seal tape, or chemical resistant hoses. Products are available in lengths up to 13,500 ft (4115 m). Our PTFE tapes meet the demanding physical and mechanical properties of AS22759. Products are available in expanded, unsintered, sintered, and skived forms. Optionally, a pressure sensitive adhesive can be added for improved bonding.
